When Connection Meets Purpose: Supporting United Way of Geary County

February 11, 2026

Twin Valley employees deliver a $400 donation and more than $1,500 in supplies to support United Way of Geary County’s Stuff the Pantry program.

Each year, Twin Valley and ISG Technology employees come together at the One TVFC conference and choose a community organization to support, one that’s doing real, boots-on-the-ground work in our service area.

This year, that choice was an easy one: United Way of Geary County.

United Way of Geary County supports local families year-round through direct programs and community partnerships that strengthen education, financial stability, and access to basic needs. From initiatives like Stuff the Pantry and Stuff the Bus to support for local social service agencies, their work makes a real difference right here at home. We’re proud to support the programs that support our community.

Stuff the Pantry, Fill the Heart

Last week, we had the privilege of dropping off our donation in person. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we were able to contribute $400 in cash and more than $1,500 in supplies for United Way’s Stuff the Pantry initiative this spring.

These items will directly support local families in need. But the impact goes beyond the numbers.

Supporting Families During Tax Season

Right now, United Way of Geary County is in the heart of tax season, offering free tax preparation for low- to moderate-income families through their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This service helps families keep more of what they earn, and for many, it’s the difference between staying afloat and falling behind.

Why Reliable Internet Matters for Community Work

Twin Valley is proud to be Junction City’s local internet provider. We do more than provide internet, we help crucial organizations like United Way of Geary County protect sensitive information, keep essential work moving without interruption, and remain focused on the people they serve.

When Executive Director, Nicole Mader, talked with our team, she shared something that stuck: Reliable internet isn’t optional for this work, it’s essential. The ability to securely file taxes, schedule appointments, connect with volunteers, and serve the community from anywhere is what led United Way of Geary County to switch to Twin Valley. They needed dependable connectivity to show up for their community, and that’s exactly what Twin Valley provides. This partnership is a perfect example of what happens when technology meets purpose. When connection enables service. And when a local organization can focus less on whether their internet will work, and more on the people counting on them.
