Congratulations to Julie Rosenquist, teacher at Flinthills USD 492, and Brad Bettles, student at Clearwater USD 264! You each won an Amazon Fire HD 10” Tablet in our first back-to-school giveaway!
Julie uses the Internet daily in her classroom, where she teaches middle school social studies, high school English, and yearbook. The Internet helps bring the content they are studying to life, she says.
“Through the use of SKT High-Speed Internet, I can provide meaningful and relevant material to students,” Julie said.
More than 130 students and teachers entered the contest. Parents and teachers both agreed that the Internet plays a vital role in enhancing our education system.
“We are constantly using the Internet to work on schoolwork and to look up items on Google,” Brad’s mom, Erin, said. “Brad just started using Prodigy at home as well, which is a program they use at school.”
SKT values education and is pleased to help connect students to better learning opportunities using high-speed Internet in our local schools and at home. Thank you to all who entered our Back-to-School Giveaway. Stay tuned for future contests with SKT!
