  • No Barriers Program for Veterans with Disabilities

Application deadline is August 1, 2023.

Twin Valley partners with CoBank, one of the largest private providers of credit to the U.S. rural economy, to provide an opportunity for veterans with disabilities to overcome barriers, tackle challenges, and build a network of support through the No Barriers program.

The program offers participants an opportunity to participate in demanding activities like rafting, rock climbing, and hiking to become better equipped to overcome the obstacles they face in their daily lives. The best part – the program is paid for entirely by CoBank. There is no cost to participate.

Veterans must be nominated by Twin Valley or another CoBank partner to be considered. CoBank selects up to 50 veterans to participate in one of four, multi-day expeditions.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in participating in the No Barriers program, please complete the online form. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The submission deadline to Twin Valley is August 1, 2023. Twin Valley will sponsor applications for those who live in the Twin Valley service area, including Junction City. Additional instructions will be sent to qualifying applicants.
