Status of the Affordable Connectivity Program

The following letter dated March 15, 2024, has been sent to ACP customers:

The FCC is winding down the federal Affordable Connectivity Program, but we are continuing to support you. Read on to see how.

Your household is enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a government program that provides up to a $30 monthly discount toward your internet service. To truly bridge the digital divide, an additional discount is provided to you by the Twin Valley Financial Assistance Program. These discounts are reflected on your monthly bill. 

Congress has failed to take action to extend funding for the ACP, and the program is scheduled to end.
The final full federal ACP discount of $30 will be applied to your April 2024 service bill, and you will receive no further ACP discounts. 

How We’re Helping

We stand firm in our Pledge to support rural Kansas communities. Although the federally funded ACP is being discontinued and we no longer have a way to qualify applicants, we will continue to provide the existing Twin Valley Financial Assistance subsidy on your account through the end of 2024. This is fully funded by Twin Valley to help connect you to remote work opportunities, online education, telehealth, entertainment and more. 

Since launching the Twin Valley Financial Assistance program last year, the company has funded more than $100,000 in internet subsidies for low-income families. 

You may choose to switch to a different plan, and our team is ready to help you find one that fits your budget. Enter your address online to view options or contact our team for help finding one that fits your budget. 

Important Note

Some participants will need to opt-in to continue receiving service. This will be indicated in your letter and email notifications. If you receive such a notice and do not respond by 4 p.m., April 30, 2024, your service will be shut off on May 1, 2024. Opt in options:
